Frontier Day

will be held
Friday, April 27, 2018 through Saturday, April 28, 2018

at National Oak Park in downtown Alvin

The Alvin Rotary Club will host the 44th annual Frontier Day beginning Friday, April 27, 2018 through Saturday, April 28, 2018

Spaces for Food Vendors will be available. Click HERE for application and permit instructions.

This year's festivities will begin Thursday afternoon when the Carnival opens at Stanton's parking lot. The festivities continue Friday evening at National Oak Park where
  • Charlie Robison 10:00 - midnight
  • Seth Candan 8:00 - 9:30 PM
  • Briana Adams 6:00 - 7:30 PM
will entertain at the Frontier Days Concert from 6:00 p.m. until midnight. Food and drinks will be served. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Admission to the Frontier Days Concert will be $20.00.

The Arts and Crafts vendors will be set up on Sealy Street Saturday. Saturday's full day of events will feature the popular Frontier Day Parade through the old downtown area of Alvin. Another crowd favorite, the Alvin Rotary Club Gunfighters will perform their popular "Shoot-out" twice on Frontier Day.

Nearby kiddie rides, food concessions, and carnival activities run concurrent with the Arts, Crafts & Collectibles Festival. and the Antique and Collectible Car and Bike Show. The prize winners for the Club 100 Frontier Days drawing will be selected via a random reverse drawing.

Frontier Day brings many people to downtown Alvin and most return year after year to enjoy the entertainment and full day of activities.

Proceeds support scholarships and other charitable activities in the Alvin area.
Currently, the following activities are planned for Frontier Day:

  • Arts, Crafts and Collectibles Business Expo
  • Car and Bike Show
  • Frontier Day Parade
  • Club 100 Raffle tickets will be sold
  • AHS Marching Band will perform throught the day at National Oak Park
  • Entertainment
  • Moonwalks and Kids Bouncers at National Oak Park
  • Food Court
  • Kiddy train rides at National Oak Park
  • Mini-Golf at City Hall
